IN4MATION X DIAMOND SUPPLY CO. X GRAVIS
by skateornot on Oct.04, 2008, under apparel, new product, shoes
The elite footwear brand Gravis has teamed up with Skate brands Diamond Supply Co. andIn4mation. The whole idea came about as Gravis Footwear’s newest designer Kelly Kikuta talking to the In4mation guys about his new job at Gravis. As the discussion of continuing on their relationship with Kelly as they worked on the DVS x In4mation Huf Runner together the idea of doing a travel bag came into play. We were all discussing on things and since In4mation and Diamond Supply Co. were looking to do something together but they wanted to do something that meant more towards just putting their names together on a Tshirt. The 3 brands collide and agreed to build a limited bag that was aimed at your Traveler who frequents the tradeshows of our industry. We wanted a bag that would be limited toward our specific customer that appreciates our lifestyles. The fresh colorway of the Tiffany blue has resurfaced again and it will only be available at the Diamond Supply Co. store in Los Angeles, In4mation store in Hawaii and select Burton stores across the globe.
Price: will be announced soon.
Release NOVEMBER 2008.

From the Gravis rep, “Arto Saari brings this weird portable finish sauna thing with him to skate spots. He stretches out in it and warms up before he skates.” Dylan Rieder, who’s gone from NikeSB to Vans to now Gravis, apparently skates in these shoes:

Note: It’s really hard to find Dylan Rieder on the new Gravis skate site. Why is this?
I think I’m going to see if Patrick O’Dell wants to do an interview.
